Hello, from what I know a lot of people have had this experience. Its been given a name but cannot think of that right now. Its the same as the black dogs of hell, a lot of people have also encountered those.
This is freaky, I had things happen to, even to the extent of moving me around in bed and only has stopped with me running from the bedroom looking back to see nothing at all apart from one time there was a black shadow near the bed and room temp dropping at alarming rate!

You said it use to be her room than she died and the man move out, so maybe she one of them who dont know she is dead and still think she was alive and wonder who was that in her room. and that may be why she give you a mean look. Thank you for telling your story. I liked it!
