Scary Seance

One day I was walking from the kitchen to the living room when I saw a shadow moving down the hallway. I screamed and ran to the kitchen. Some kids who were over got scared but they saw a TV show on how to contact spirits and wanted to try it. So we sat in a circle on the floor. I started saying, "Ghostie, please contact us in five ways."

I did not think anything would happen. When we got up to search for the signs of contact, we did not find anything. Two hours later, when they went to leave, one of them left his socks downstairs. We went to the basement to get his socks and he leaned down to pick them up when I heard a click. I looked up and the TV turned on to the TV show, �A Haunting.� On the screen, frozen, were the words �Haunted Basement.� We ran upstairs. My mom saw how scared we were and asked what was wrong. Jason said "T-t-t-v-v bas-sme-e-ent." She asked me what's the matter I said the same thing.

After a few minutes we told her what happened and when we went back downstairs, the TV was turned off.
