Any time there is remodeling going on-this disrupts the ethereal flow within the property. The Shadow people come up/out to draw on other resources, usually the people doing the remodeling. I am sure they were curious what you all were up to, eh?!. Doesn't sound you need to fear anything, but let me know if this changes.
