The Whaley House Museum Face

I first went to the Whaley House in San Diego, CA. in February 2008 with my husband. Guests are encouraged to take lots of pictures to try to catch something, so I took several pictures inside the house but found nothing on them. We went again in September 2008 but didn't go inside. I took a couple pictures from outside in front of the house and when I looked through them I found a face of which looks like a girl when I zoomed into the pic. I still wasn't sure if it was anything. I looked through some other pictures to see if it was just the picture hanging on the wall. You can see that the face in the framed picture on the wall is a man and is dead center of the frame which is a completely different place than the face of the girl. I am posting the original then posting it zoomed, also the picture of the wall from inside the house.

Never really caught anything in a picture like this before and just happen to come across this website and thought I would share it. Tell me what you think, I could be wrong :)

Whaley house face

This is a great picture. I have been to the house twice,(not far from me) I have learned the Whaley family comes back every year. Legend has it they have a family thanksgiving and people have smelled delicious food from Thanksgiving thru Christmas. I have also heard that Mr. Whaley, his wife and one of his daughters are still bound to the home. SO it doesn't surprise me at all. I fell in love with the house right before my Grandmother passed, I could spend days there, just sitting and listening to the house. But enough about me! Great pic.

I do, in fact, see the face. I think there's one girl, on the bottom right it's two separate close-ups. She's rather creepy looking as you can see only the left side of her face. Her eye seems open very wide and her mouth open in horror or anger or something of the sorts. Love it. :)

Thanks for the pic. I can't really see the face - or I should say - if you what you say is a face, there are actually two of them in the image I see. Regardless, I accepted your pic because the story of the Whaley House is interesting and so is your pic. Maybe our visitors can see the face you describe.
