The Ghost in a Brown Dress

Many, many years ago, when my family and I moved into a house in Oklahoma I saw a ghost. Not long after we were in that house I went upstairs and standing in front of my parents bedroom was a brown haired teenage girl in a brown dress. She looked a lot like my oldest sister. Problem was, my oldest sister was downstairs the whole time. It scared me so I ran downstairs.

I thought the ghost was maybe the ghost of my paternal grandma, because my sister looks a lot like her. Though the apparition was a young girl, my grandma could have been showing a younger version of herself.

My parents still live in that house today, but neither one has had an experience like that. I also saw sheets move on a bed in that house, and one of my sisters saw clothes move in her bedroom closet. Seeing the sheets move was actually more scary than seeing the ghost, because I didn't know what was causing it. There were no fans on or anything.

A man did die of cancer in that house, but I never saw a male apparition there.
