The Ghost and The Flashing Lights

by Allyssa Keys
(Manchester, Mass, USA)

I was just hanging out in my room, reading a book. It was a typical Saturday for me. I am currently a high school sophomore named Alyssa. I love to read books, and I love ghost stories. Anyway, my bedroom is at the end of a long hallway in our house. There is a lightbulb right outside my door, which lights up the hall. My door was CLOSED.

I thought I heard someone walking down to my room or the bathroom, which is diagonal from it. I (wrongly) paid no attention and went back to my book. A couple minutes later I look up and see light under the door crack. I know the lightbulb was turned OFF!!! I guessed Tammi (my sister) turned it on or something. So I opened my door to go out to see Tammi and scold her about turning on the lights during the day...and the lightbulb was off!!!

I looked at the wall and no joke, there was a bunch of little flashing lights! I kinda screamed, and Tammi came sprinting down the hall. I tried talking to her.

Since then Tammi says she has seen a young woman pacing down the hall, and I have seen said woman standing in the hall. We've both seen her.
