Strange Pink Streak in Her Face

This picture is of my daughter and my grandson. It was taken with a digital camera a couple years ago in July when my daughter was visiting her sister in Littlestown, Pa. No one else was there but them, and they did not see this pink thing until they looked at the picture. It is freaky because you can see part of it in the sky and it shoots down across her face. She said later that night she had a terrible headache. There is no way that can be a prank because you can see it in the sky. They were sitting outside on a warm, clear night with fields around them. The picture was taken in a country setting.

Please let me know what this streak is. It has been bothering me
ever since it was taken.
