Ghost Sitting on Me

This was two years back. When I was fast asleep, I had a dream that a shadow of a human was sitting on my chest, trying to thrust something in the middle of my chest. I was terrified and wanted to shoo it away, but I couldn't move a finger as if I was completely paralyzed. I couldn't even say or scream after fighting a lot. I woke up and opened my eyes to see that the shadow was really on me!!!! But the minute I opened my eyes, it ran away. I tried chasing that thing but it just vanished.

This is not my imagination nor am I a psycho. It's true. I had this kind of dream about six months back again. This time I could actually see this woman coming close to me and pulling the heck out of me!!! She was pulling my right arm and twisting it. At one point I just floated out of my body and saw my husband and myself sleeping!!!

I fought a lot to get back to myself and tried to scream and wake my hubby but I was again sort of paralyzed. Can anyone tell me whether this was a real ghost or what? I am really confused. Both these incidents happened at about 2:30 am.
